We are seeking proposals for preconference workshops that explore current and emerging topics related to Interprofessional Education and/or collaborative practice. The topic does not have to correspond with the overall conference theme/ subtheme. These 3-hour interactive “Masterclass’ sessions aim to impart specific skill sets to participants that they can apply in their own settings. This consists of an introduction to the workshop followed by the main interactive component with ample opportunities for audience participation, interaction and discussion. We welcome co-facilitation. 

PLEASE NOTE the deadline for submissions for the pre-conference workshops abstract is EARLIER than all other submissions: The deadline for submissions is 05 January 2023 (23:59 GMT+3). We regret after this date we are unable to accept any further submissions.

The abstract should include:

  • Background
  • Rationale for the pre-conference workshop
  • Learning objectives
  • Intended outcomes
  • Structure of workshop
  • A description of the interaction anticipated during the session and a session itinerary with specifics and the approximate amount of time given for each activity, up to three hours in total.
  • Who should participate?
  • A description of the participants' pearls of wisdom/ take home messages, knowledge, or material they will acquire.
Marketing workshop description: Give an overview of the workshop that will encourage and attract participants to sign up for the workshop (150 words maximum).
